Grand Masquerade - getting excited!

My new laptop came in and I love it to death.  Its SO light and thin and fast and virtually silent.  I feel a bit bad, however, because now I'm completely out of money…which means no more commissions for a while.  This almost physically hurts me.  I'm such an art addict, argh!!

Also, i'm going to the Grand Masquerade in New Orleans come September so I really need to be saving for that.  I bought a new dress… even though it wasn't my first choice (but my first choice was like $400 and I couldn't find it on sale anymore ><) but I still think with some accessorizing and good shoes it should still look pretty snazzy.

I've never gone to anything quite like this so I'm excited and a bit nervous.  I've never LARP'd - officially with rules and character sheets and all.  Most of the VtM role-play I've done (okay virtually all of it) has been very free form.  So I don't know if I'll have the guts to do that.  I'm looking forward to the parties, however, and meeting fellow World of Darkness fans.

Anyone else going?

Basically, any excuse to go back to New Orleans is a good one.  's never been, so and I are looking forward to showing him around to some of our favorite places.

Speaking of Vampire: the Masquerade:  Of Gods & Monsters is up to 20 Logs.  We have a whole bunch more, and I'm trying to go over them briefly and make sure they read better than just raw logs.  Fixing formatting and post order and all that.  They are still not as a refined as a novel or anything, but I think they read pretty well.  I'm trying to do at least one a day, so please check it out if you have some time.  This is where you're seeing all my amazing art of Aubrey, Moreau, Sabin, and Lukas I keep spamming all your awesome artists with is coming from!
